FAQ

Welcome to our Help Center. We've compiled a list of frequently asked questions from our clients. If you can't find the answer you're looking for, please don't hesitate to reach out to us and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

What type of auto body repairs do you specialize in?

We specialize in anything having to do with the overall appearance of the vehicle whether that be replacing a headlight or repairing and repainting a bumper or door. We do it all!

How long does it take to repair a vehicle after an accident?

Repair times vary depending on numerous factors. Self-Pay repairs typically take 3-5 business days while insurance claim repairs are typically in and out in about 10-14 business days.

Do you work with insurances?

Yes! We work with most auto insurance carriers! Once your claim is opened let them know you'd like your repairs handled by our team and we take care of the rest!

What should I do if my car has been damaged in an accident?

Call 911 if medical assistance is needed and to file a report for the incident. Once that's done, get in touch with your insurance agent to file a claim and let them know you've chosen a body shop and provide them with the name of the shop ( hopefully us!) Give the shop a call so they know your vehicle is coming and give them your agents contact info .

Will my car be safe to drive after repairs?

Absolutely ! Car repairs are thoroughly inspected at every step to ensure the highest quality of repairs possible to ensure we get your car back to its former glory!

Do you offer a warranty on your repairs?

Definitely! At Texas Made, we are proud of our work and offer a lifetime warranty for all repairs, restorations and more. Our team will be happy to discuss the warranty details with you depending on the services rendered!

What happens if additional damage is found during the repair process?

Our team does their best to ensure the most accurate estimate possible by gauging the severity and planning accordingly, however sometimes there are still small pieces not accounted for that require us to send an additional damages supplement. We do our best to be fair with the additional cost but ultimately the client is responsible for the additional cost of repairs as stated in their work order.

Do you offer rental cars or alternative transportation while my car is being repaired?

If a loaner is provided by insurance, we're happy to help coordinate drop off or pickup of the loaner for the client. When a loaner is not  available via insurance we are able to provide in house loaners (when available)  for clients getting repairs with us for a reduced fee.

How do I schedule an appointment for an estimate?

To schedule a consultation for an estimate of repairs you can call us or email us directly or fill out our contact form. If you're in the area you're also welcome to come on in.

Estimates requested after 2PM will be provided the next business day.

Will my insurance cover the cost of repairs?

Depending on the situation, insurance will cover all the cost of repairs minus the deductible if applicable and any optional/additional repairs not associated with the incident.

Do you use genuine OEM parts for repairs?

OEM part usage is on a case-by-case basis. Newer cars are typically only fixed with OEM parts due to lack of aftermarket options. So unless a client specifies, we will always try to pick the most cost effective option that will also look good. Insurance policies for OEM/AM parts are dependent on the vehicle involved.

What payment options do you offer ?

Insurance checks (where applicable) , cash, credit/debit (fees apply) , Zelle transfer, direct deposit (for fleet or company accounts), company checks (where applicable)
